Clerk I – Full Time

Laurens County Human Resources is accepting applications for a full-time Clerk I in the office of General Sessions Court within the office of the Clerk of Court.

Minimal requirements:

High school diploma or GED, with specialized training in clerical/secretarial duties with one (1) year of experience, or a combination of education and training.

Proficiency in computer skills and Word is a must.

Applicants should have excellent communicative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include but are not limited to receipting money for fees, data entry of warrants, and going to court.

Qualified applicants will undergo an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
