Laurens County is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Director of Human Resources. The desired applicant must be able to function under the general supervision of the Human Resources Director, perform clerical duties including, but not limited to: the ability to maintain confidentiality, maintaining and managing records, benefits coordination, i.e. health, dental and disability, as well as assistance with onboarding of new hires. Minimum requirements are high school diploma or GED (associate degree or higher preferred); proficiency in Microsoft® Office, Word, Excel, Access, and related software. Experience in the administration of the State of South Carolina Health Plan, the South Carolina Retirement Systems, as well as experience with CSI HRIS/payroll and accounting software is a plus.
