EMS – Asst Shift Supervisor – Lieutenant

Position:       Assistant Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant

Salary:           $49k/yearly

Schedule:     24/48-hour shift

The individual selected for this position will oversee and perform various supervisory tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of an assigned area responsible for providing emergency medical services.  Additionally, provides QRV, QA/QI, scheduling, and other assigned administrative duties pertinent to the efficient function of the department.

Minimum training and experience: Associates Degree or equivalent with four years experience as a Paramedic within a high-volume ALS system preferred. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a valid South Carolina driver’s license, SC Paramedic certification or qualify for reciprocity, BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications and be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. The selected individual must have or be able to obtain PHTLS/BTLS provider, CEVO, and AAA certification within 6 months of employment.
