Laurens County is accepting applications for a part-time Library Assistant at the Clinton Branch. The desired candidate will under regular supervision, performs routine library functions and general clerical work in assigned service or administrative area of the Laurens County Library system. Work involves providing professional and courteous customer service at all times, and performing related tasks as assigned. Reports to an assigned librarian, Deputy Library Director or Library Director
Minimum Training and Experience
Requires an Associates degree or equivalent obtained at a two-year college or technical school in liberal arts, information technology or other relevant field supplemented by six months to one year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
The successful applicant is required to pass pre-employment background check, drug testing, and are subject to random testing.
