Laurens County Human Resources is accepting applications for the position of Litter/Humane Officer within the Public Works Department. Under occasional supervision enforces ordinances governing the care and keeping of domestic animals and livestock and participates in litter control programs within Laurens County.
Work involves responding to all calls for assistance regarding animals, assisting with the cleaning and operation of the animal shelter, maintaining litter-free County roadways, and performing related work as required. Position requires on-call rotation.
Reports to the Litter-Humane Supervisor.
The selected candidate must be 21 years of age and will undergo and pass drug screening and must pass a criminal background check.
