Laurens County Human Resources is accepting applications for a mechanic/Operator/CDL Driver position within the Landfill Department. The position reports to the manager of the department. Under general supervision, duties include: performing mechanic duties on mobile and fixed equipment, operating mobile equipment, operating a CDL vehicle, and general labor duty as assigned. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, possess a minimum Class B Commercial Driver’s License, good driving record, pass pre-employment drug testing, and are subject to random testing. Compensation includes wage and a full health, retirement, vacation, sick leave and benefits package.
