Laurens County Human Resources is accepting applications for a full-time Resurfacing/Maintenance Crew Leader within the Public Works Department. Essential Job functions include, but are not limited to: Under occasional supervision, assists in supervising and participates in the daily operations of the Roads and Bridges Division, including street resurfacing/maintenance, bridge and storm drain maintenance right-of-way maintenance.
Work involves leading the subordinate staff, ensuring the timely completion of scheduled resurfacing/maintenance projects and emergency projects, maintaining tools and equipment, and performing related work as required.
The successful candidate is required to pass pre-employment drug testing and is subject to random testing. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Compensation includes salary and a full health, retirement, vacation, sick leave and benefits package.
