Clerk I- Veterans Affairs

Laurens County Human Resources is accepting applications for a Full-Time Clerk I within the Veterans Affairs office. This position would, under direct supervision, performs various routine clerical duties in support of department operations. Work involves typing and preparing various documents, maintaining files and logs, always providing professional and courteous customer service, and performing related tasks specific to assigned department.  Reports to the assigned supervisor.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with six months to one year of experience in clerical or secretarial work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  The successful candidate is required to pass pre-employment drug testing.
