EMS – Paramedic

Laurens County EMS is currently seeking Paramedics to become part of our outstanding EMS service. If you have been looking for a service that is team-oriented, patient care focused, and is becoming an example for others to follow, we have a few positions for you.

Position:       Paramedic

Salary:           $15.12 per hour

Schedule:     24/48-hour shift

The individual selected for this position will function as the lead medical staff providing emergency pre-hospital care and transportation to the critically injured or ill within the parameters of their license/certifications.

Minimum training and experience: High school diploma with experience as a Paramedic within a high-volume ALS system preferred. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a valid South Carolina driver’s license, SC Paramedic certification or qualify for reciprocity, BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications and be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. The selected individual must have or be able to obtain PHTLS/BTLS provider, CEVOII, and AAA certification within 6 months of employment.
