The Solid Waste Division serves the needs of the County for the disposal of household garbage and for the recycling of various products. The normal hours of operation for the landfill are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. All loads delivered to the landfill must be received and unloaded at least 15 minutes before the posted closing times. A list of acceptable wastes for disposal and unacceptable wasted is posted within this web site. This department section currently employs seven (7) dedicated individuals.
